I would like to unveil my new living room! But after a brief explanation.
I've been wanting to re-do my living room for a while now. We decided to do that as our Christmas present to each other. Around Thanksgiving, I told Marc's sister's that I wanted to re-decorate the room and they wanted to help. Then it turned into them just taking over. I was ecstatic! I am clueless when it comes to decorating. I let them choose the color scheme, I chose the paint color, then they did the rest. They shopped for everything and wouldn't show any of it to us. They kicked us out for a couple of hours then put the whole room together. The unveiling was last night and I was speechless. It was so different than anything I would have done (cuz I don't have the brain to choose anything cute!) and it looks awesome!! It was the best thing that has happened to me in my life. Next to Marc, Kenadie and Roman. :)
Here's before...
AND HERE'S AFTER!!!
On the wall with the bead board, a little bench will go there soon.
Gorgeous, right? I love it so much! I'm in awe everytime I look at it.
Thank you Giuliana and Laura!

5 months of Roman
My little man is 5 months!
Getting stronger and ready to crawl!
He has started eating cereal....
....and doesn't like it.
But he loves this chair!
He is rolling over now and LOVES to sleep on his stomach. In fact, I think he sleeps better on his stomach.
I could not have asked for a better, happier guy! I am still so in love with him!

Kenadie is 3!
Kenadie turned 3 today. But it's more like 16.
She is so full of personality and says the darndest things! She acts more like a grown up (sometimes) than a 3 year old.
In small ways we had celebrated her birthday nearly everyday for the last 6 months just because she said it was her birthday. So if we acted like today was just another day, she wouldn't have known the difference.
She is such a sweet girl most of the time. And she's the best helper I know.
She loves her little brother more than she loves me. But that's ok. And I hope it lasts her whole life.

Best doctor I know!
Our lives would be really boring without this firecracker of a girl. She was so meant to be here in our family and I love her with all my heart!

Roman at 3 months
My little man sure is growing! I love his chubby cheeks!
Man, did I luck out with this one. He is such a laid back, happy boy.
With him being the second child, I don't get to hold him as much as I did with Kenadie and he is content to sit there in his bouncer or swing.
He sleeps really well at night. The last 2 nights have been from 8:30-5. He doesn't cry when I put him in bed. He'll just fall asleep. AAAAAAAAH. Sigh of relief!
His legs are getting stronger and he can stand up on them.
He smiles at me all the time. I just have a hard time getting the smile on camera.
I've noticed, though, that I haven't taken as many pictures of him (thus, the reason I only have 3 pictures of him at this age!).
He is close to giggling when I tickle him. It's like a grunt.
I can't tell you how much he weighs now but at 2 months, he was 11 lbs.
I am so in love with this boy it almost hurts!

My kidlets
Not that I'm bias or anything, but my kids are the cutest kids in the world!
My friend Liz wants to get into photography and she wanted some practice on Roman. Here are a few she took. She did a great job!
My friend Ginnie, whom I've known my entire life, is a great photographer (see the link to her website to the right of my blog - Ginnie J Photography - or just click here!) and took some pics of my kids too. Here are my favorites. LOVE THEM!

Introducing Roman Marcus Bule
This pregnancy went by so very fast for me. However, that last couple weeks went by so slowly. I scheduled my induction date for the 27th and since I knew that was the day I was going to have my little boy, those last weeks dragged. I knew I was getting a call from the hospital the day before my induction date to let me know what time to come in. I was dying that whole day, waiting for the phone to ring! I kept checking my phone, making sure it was working. I was so excited and anxious. Then I got the call that evening and they told me to be ready as early as 7 am but they would call me when they were ready for me. So on Monday the 27th, I was ready to go at 7 but was just waiting for the next phone call. Finally at 9 they called and told me to be there at 10. Whohoo! It's go time! We were so excited!
So we got to the hospital and I got all dressed in that sexy robe and got all hooked up ready to get pitossin and have the doctor break my water. I wanted to wait as long as I could to get the epidural. Around 2 that afternoon, I got it and I felt awesome! I was progressing very slowly and got stuck at a 4 all afternoon and evening. Sometime after 9 pm, the nurse checked me and I was dilated to a 9, finally! Then she left. All of a sudden I felt tons of pressure down there and knew it was time. I had to call the nurses desk to tell them to send my nurse back in; this baby is coming and I need to push! She came in and told me the doctor wasn't at the hospital but on his way back from Timpanogos Hospital. Oh crap, I thought! But then he walked in just then. Phew!
I pushed for 5 minutes and out came little Roman. I thought he looked just like Kenadie did when she was born. He wasn't really crying, but just kind of squaking. We were trying to get him to cry more so we knew he was breathing ok. He finally cried a little more, but as I've learned, he doesn't cry loud, mostly squaks and grunts. They set him on top of me and I was just lost in his little face. I was the happiest person at that moment. He was perfect! It was love at first sight! I looked up at Bule and he was teary eyed, so happy his little boy was here.
He was born at 9:42 pm...6 lbs 13 oz and 18 inches.
Right before we left home for the hosptial
At the hospital
I look bigger in this robe than I do in my clothes!
Just hangin' out
And here he is!
Cutest boy ever!
I was starving and actually felt good enough to eat!
The next day Kenadie was finally able to meet him. She was so excited and happy!
Ready to go home!
What a great experience I had and I feel so very blessed to have a healthy baby and a sweet little girl. Oh and one fabulous husband!
