8 years

Last Monday was our 8 year anniversary. I can't believe it's been 8 years already! But at the same time it feels like it's been forever!

We celebrated by staying one night at the Zermatt in Midway the friday before. That was the first time we left Kenadie overnight. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. We saw a few little girls that were around Kenadie's age there and that's when I missed her a lot. Anyway, we went on a sleigh ride around the Homestead, ate a Seafood buffet at Schneitter's, and sat in the hot tub. The next day we at breakfast ate Matty's Bistro, played pool, then came home and saw a movie. It was a great weekend; we really needed some time to ourselves.
Some things I remember about our wedding day...

I froze my butt off.
Bule left me at the temple. After we took pictures and changed into our clothes to go home and get ready for the luncheon, I couldn't find him anywhere. Good job, babe.

We ate really good food for lunch.

I was really tired before the reception even started.

But it was a beautiful day and am thankful to have such a great husband who took me to the temple!

Seeing Santa

Yesterday we went to see Santa. I knew Kenadie wouldn't like him because she's scared of everything. The second I put her on his lap, she reached for me and started crying. Bule only got one picture. This one....
The store we were at got a better one, you can at least see her face, but it's still not that great. They gave us a print out of it so I don't have it on my computer to upload.
I'm glad to know that at least half the kids in the world are scared of Santa too, and that their parents have pictures of their kids crying on his lap!

Ahh, the Dentist

I love how everytime I go to the dentist (and I do go every 6 months. That is why I have prerfect check-ups every time, thank you very much!) the hygienist asks me questions when my mouth is wide open and I have a sharp instrument in there. Not sure how they expect me to answer. But I do my best and say, "ahabbl i isia ahal aya soao whoaoaoa ahalal aruhu uh."
