My baby is 6 months old!

Holy crap, the time has flown by so fast!

Kenadie is such a fun baby at this stage in her life. Hard, but fun, if that's possible. She has such a cute personality. She's finally sleeping better, thank goodness. I thought I was gonna die a while back. She can sit up on her own and does really well. I'm feeding her solids and she loves everything I've given her so far. I don't think she'll be a picky eater like her mom. The other day my dad was holding her while he was eating lunch and she grabbed the Taquito right out of his hand and put it in her mouth. That was so funny. When she wants something, she does this funny face where she makes an O out of her mouth and puts her hands out to her side and kind of shakes, it is hilarious!

She loves to sleep on her side now. When I check on her at night or during her naps, she is either sideways or head on the opposite end of the crib. She just can't hold still.

She's always so intense and can't hold still and is so determined. I think she's fussy because she can't do anything on her own right now. I know she'll be so much happier when she can crawl. She wants to be so independent. Oh boy! My life will be harder when that happens. But it's fun to see her grow up and get her own personality.

I loved the moments when she was a newborn and would lay on my chest. She had no choice cuz she couldn't move on her own! But I don't miss the crying. She was so hard as a newborn so I'm glad that part is over. Now she will snuggle me for a mere 2 seconds when she is hungry or tired. She'll grab my neck and bury her head in my shoulder. I think that's her way of saying I love you mom, so I tell her, "I love you too". Or she could be telling me to whip out my boob and feed her!

Then there's Bule and Kenadie. Oh man, he is sooooooooo in love with that girl. I'm almost jealous! He'll say good morning to her before me. He'll kiss her all over, before me. He'll say goodbye and tell her he'll miss her then just say to me, Bye Bec. That's ok, though. I love seeing his face light up when he sees her. Especially when he gets home from work. I never knew a man's voice could go so high until we had a baby and he started talking to her! He is such a good dad and hubby. He's not home that often but when he is, he will play with her and sing to her and I love it. When he sings, he'll just make up his own words to songs. And I'm in the other room just laughing and what he says.

I love this face so much! I love being her mom!
